Please be informed that our team will be on holiday throughout the month of August, and we will therefore be unable to attend to consultations during this period.
Between 31 July and 31 August, our usual response timeframes will be temporarily suspended. During these weeks, both the delivery of your Digital Photographic Consultation and responses from our team may take longer than usual.
For this reason, the standard 10 working day timeframe for confirming your request, and the 90 working day timeframe for delivering your digital diagnosis, will not apply during this period. Upon our return, we will resume normal operations and restore our usual response times.

In both modalities of the initial diagnostic appointment, Dr. Guilarte will evaluate your case from both an aesthetic and functional perspective, if required, and provide a realistic simulation of the expected results post-surgery.
Additionally, you will be provided with a cost estimate, informed about recovery and postoperative times, financing options, etc. If you are from outside Madrid, we will give you detailed information about the required length of stay in Madrid and the approximate follow-up timelines.

Digital Photographic Consultation – PERSONALIZED IN ADDITION TO ONLINE
In this Digital Photographic Consultation, the first step will be to fill out a form where we will ask you to detail your needs and concerns, as well as basic information related to your nose or any other part of the body you wish to address.
We need this basic information and several current photographs for Dr. Guilarte to prepare the personal report. Dr. Guilarte will assess your case individually and proceed to send a detailed report via an explanatory video by the same doctor outlining his diagnosis in detail..
In this video report, you will be provided with your diagnosis, advised on the best solution for your particular case, and recommended the most suitable surgery with the available therapeutic options, as well as the associated risks.
Additionally, you will receive a simulation of the expected outcome after surgery (provided the case allows for it).
We will also inform you, through a video, about your pre and postoperative process, expected recovery times, scheduling deadlines for surgery, etc. In short, we will proceed with sending all the necessary information and documentation to proceed with the desired surgery at our Clinic.
Likewise, for those patients residing outside of Madrid, we will provide information about their stay as well as suggestions for accommodations if needed.
Scheduling the first Digital Photographic Consultation, you will still have a second In-person Consultation with Dr. Guilarte. This will be scheduled prior to the surgery.
Quotation
In addition to your report, we will send you the detailed budget for your surgery, the steps to follow if you wish to proceed with reserving the operating room, as well as the established payment deadlines.
We will also include details regarding the financing system, along with a simulation of financing from 12 to 48 months, in case this is of interest to you.
Resolution of Doubts
Once you have received all the information, you will have the full support of Dr. Guilarte’s team to address any non-medical concerns regarding your surgery process. Please note that the majority of these concerns are addressed daily by our team, and resolving them will help clarify important aspects of your surgery and provide you with the necessary peace of mind required for this process.

Second (in-person) consultation prior to your surgery
Once your operating room date is reserved, we will schedule a second consultation, which will be in-person and prior to your surgery with Dr. Guilarte. During this consultation, we will detail all the aspects discussed in the Digital Photographic Consultation and address any concerns regarding both your surgery and the process of recovery.
Additionally, we will provide you with the necessary documentation and take new photographs, which will help us address these concerns and study your case in more detail.
In summary, the digital photographic consultation has the same characteristics as the in-person consultation with two notable advantages:
– With the Digital Photographic Consultation, you will have a video diagnosis that you can watch as many times as needed and share with anyone you deem necessary.
– Due to its structured nature, the process is completed more swiftly and thoroughly. This allows us to reduce waiting times for diagnosis preparation, the second consultation, and surgery.
Cost and Timelines
The timeframe for sending Dr. Guilarte’s video report along with the rest of the detailed documentation is a maximum of 90 working days (Monday to Friday) (starting from the reception of all required documentation), although we strive to send it as soon as possible.
“The cost of this Digital Photographic Consultation is €250, which will be deducted from the cost of your surgical intervention afterward. The Digital Photographic Consultation is non-refundable, either in whole or in part.
Benefits of the Digital Photographic Consultation
- The patient can replay the diagnostic video as many times as deemed necessary. For instance, if the patient wishes to review the video 3 or 4 times, they can do so. In other words, it’s like having 3 or 4 initial consultations, which helps address many doubts.
- You can watch it with whoever you want; in the in-person consultation, they only went with one companion, whereas the digital consultation can be shared with anyone you choose.
- Finally, we reduce waiting times since the waiting list for in-person consultations is quite long. However, the Digital Consultation will be sent within a maximum of 90 working days (Monday to Friday), although we always strive to send it as soon as possible and adapt to the needs of each patient.
And if I prefer to have the ‘Initial Diagnostic Appointment’ through an ‘In-Person Consultation’?
During the In-Person Consultation, you will receive the same information as in the Digital Photographic Consultation but in person at the clinic. Please note that there is approximately a one-year waiting list for the In-Person Consultation.
The cost of the In-Person Consultation is €250, deductible from the provided estimate.
